Statement from President:
As I reflect on my year as the President of Healthy Families Rappahannock Area (HFRA), I am proud of all that we accomplished in FY2013. Thanks to the many generous supporters and stakeholders who have stuck with us through uncertain economic times, we were able to increase the number of families served and positioned ourselves to move forward as we fulfill our collective mission: strengthening the family unit.
The success stories highlighted on this website exemplify a prevention philosophy that helps us maximize our impact: the connectivity of our work. At our core is a drive to be much more than the sum of our individual program and services. We continuously pursue new ideas, strategies and solutions that can advance our mission. And we collaborate to achieve results far beyond what we could accomplish alone.
This drive pushes us to tap collective brainpower in pursuit of solutions that are richer for the program. It enables us to maximize prevention returns on donated dollars. And it makes us more effective and more efficient.
Our performance in FY2013 highlights the many ways we continue to grow healthy babies, strengthen healthy families and build healthy communities. You helped make this happen, on behalf of the HFRA Board of Directors and program staff, thank you.
