When you give to HFRA, you are not only making a difference in the lives of local families, you are making an investment in your entire community. The lessons learned and the examples provided in the households are proven to create success stories that ultimately impact each and every one of us. These stories simply cannot be written without your help. We ask that you support our efforts to further enrich our community one healthy family at a time through monetary donations and volunteerism.
Volunteerism
Healthy Families Rappahannock Area welcomes support from individuals and organizations willing to donate time, knowledge, and tangible or financial resources that can help positive parenting become the norm in all homes within our community
Fundraising Drives
Work with friends and colleagues to put together fundraising events and efforts in the community. Our needs grow every day, and you can make a difference in helping us meet them. From diaper drives to book drives to any number of other community fundraising vehicles, we welcome community members to join our team by building their own!
Office Support
Have some time and a desire to help change lives? Our office staff can use your help! You would be amazed at the way your efforts can help us focus ours on where they truly belong – building strong families in our community! Act as an assistant to one of our staff members, help us with general administrative duties, and perform receptionist…and more!
Use Your Voice
Stand up for our families! Share our message with people in our community and with the leaders who make important decisions on our work and our future. You can play a key role in speaking up for our program and for our families by handing out child abuse prevention literature, or by speaking to local groups on our behalf. Or you can go to bat for us as an advocate to help ensure we continue to receive the crucial government support we need to continue to do the important work we do!
