Safety First Regional Campaign
Without the support of our event sponsor GEICO, its staff and their families, as well as our other great event partners: Hartwood Volunteer Fire Department, Hilldrup United, Stafford Sheriff’s office, Virginia Department of Health, Smart Beginnings Rappahannock Area, the Healthy Families staff and our fiscal agent, the Rappahannock Area Community Services Board, we would not have been able to install 182 car seats in the vehicles of families in need while educating parents on how to keep their children safe in a vehicle through proper car seat installation.
We would also like to say thank you to Krispy Kreme (store #KK117), Panera Bread (store #1694), and Wright's Delights catering for their generosity, great customer service and wonderful food.
Thank you to event organizer Lixlia, Mt. Ararat Church, and One Life Fitness in Stafford, for supporting Healthy Families Rappahannock Area through their Zumba-a-thon.

Annual Holiday Party
We would like to thank our wonderful Board Member, Mrs. Jackie Simms, and Board President, Ms. Charita Mariner, for their support. We would also like to thank some of our great partners, Smart Beginnings Rappahannock Area, Strong Tower (Church) for hosting, Rappahannock Area Kids on the Block, Mrs. And Mrs. Dale Brown and the Sunshine Volunteers for their service to our families and helping to make this event successful.
Thank you to the Sunshine Volunteers for generously donating gifts for every child in attendance and the HFRA team of Santa’s helpers for ensuring that each child in Healthy Families Rappahannock Area received a beautifully wrapped gift during our Annual Holiday Party.
Quarles Diaper Drive
This past year, Quarles' associates donated over 6,000 diapers and wipes to Healthy Families Rappahannock Area. The diapers are collected and donated as part of an effort to address an oft-overlooked need in the community. Access to clean diapers helps to keep infants and babies healthier, and in turn, creates a healthier environment for their parents, siblings, and caregivers. The diaper drive echoes Quarles’ commitment to their values—mobilizing resources to support community needs.
